Incorporated in 1989, Ibersol operates a network of restaurants in Portugal, Spain, and Angola. The Company operates restaurant units under franchise contracts with brands such as Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell and Burger King, as well as through own brands such as Pans&Company and Ribs. Also operates at airports concessions under other several brands.
Ibersol was admitted to the Lisbon Stock Exchange on November 1997, with the issuance of 300k new shares and the admission to trading on Euronext of 2m shares, at a unit nominal share price of €4.99.
On November 2021, Ibersol has issued 10m new shares through a public offering, at a unit subscription price of €4.00, raising a total amount of €40m in funding, with admission to Euronext Lisbon.
Main reasons for public funding through the capital market
Through capital market financing, Ibersol was able to establish a diversified portfolio with a significant footprint in Iberia, with hundreds of owned restaurants and dozens franchised units. Additionally, enabled Ibersol to access finance in hard times, to enhance its financial position and strengthened its balance sheet after the great impact of Covid-19 Pandemic on the Group’s activity.
